Tips to surviving hangovers

drink water

This one is pretty self explanatory. After a night of drinking, you are super dehydrated and obviously water replenishes your body and basically revives you. This also gets rid of the headache that comes along with a hangover. This one is pretty self explanatory. Eat fried or greasy foods

Now I don’t know why this is a thing but it works and my friends and I all like it. After a night of drinking, eating something like a McChicken or fries frrom McDonalds never disappoints. I can’t explain why but it just immediately makes anyone feel better. It also brings an end to that drunk hunger feeling everyone has after the bars

sweat it out

Working out is therapeutic for anybody but doing it after a night out is lowkey terrible. The nice thing about though, is that getting a good sweat makes it feels like you are getting rid of the alcohol and everything out of your system from the night before. With that being said, any kind of physical activity is a good way to overcome a hangover.

coffee

Now I am pretty sure coffee doesn’t actually cure a hangover or anything like that. After thinking about it, caffeine is probably the last thing you should have after a night of drinking, especially if you get hangxiety. The only explanation I have for this one is that the blend of coffee, cream, and sugar tastes good and helps fill that emptiness you feel inside after drinking lol.

sleep

  1. Out of all the ways to handle a hangover that have been listed, this one is my personal favorite, only because this is how I handle my hangovers a majority of the time. My friends will never understand this but being able to have a whole day where you can just sleep is the best when you are hungover. My typical Sunday routine in college consisted of sleeping most of the time because when I am hungover I personally don’t like doing anything, even watching tv.

Enough being said, everybody handles a hangover differently but the trick is to find what works for you and stick to it.
